Membership Categories
The driving force behind the GFA’s successful programs is the support and participation by our members and sponsors. Committing resources, time and talent, GFA members and sponsors have created a tremendous foundation for developing sustainable Best Practices in the foodservice industry.
We encourage you to participate in the GFA and join our efforts to “green” the foodservice industry, the second largest employer in the nation. Participation is via the membership and sponsorship programs. Click here to join the GFA
The GFA offers the following membership categories:
- Supporter Member ~ companies, organizations or individuals who do not meet the criteria for the other membership categories. $500.00
- Associate Member ~ a non-profit organization or academic institution. $250.00
- Foodservice Member ~ a facility or operation that preps or processes food for the direct consumption by the end user. GRA restaurant membership is a prerequisite for this category. (link to www.garestaurants.org) $100.00
- Producer Member ~ a company or individual who grows or makes a food product for sale to the foodservice industry. $150.00
- Student Member ~ an individual enrolled in an accredited academic institution. $50.00
Benefits: All members may participate in GFA meetings, seminars, or other events and may serve on committees and task forces. Member logo, website link and phone number are listed on the GFA website. Student members are not listed on the site.
