What We Do: Green Foodservice Alliance
The Green Foodservice Alliance (GFA) supports sustainable best practices in the Foodservice Industry through education, awareness and industry collaboration.
The GFA educates restaurant owners and foodservice operators on how they can increase their energy efficiency, reduce/divert waste and incorporate the use of natural, non-toxic cleaning and sanitation supplies. It also provides a forum where stakeholders come together to discuss a more sustainable foodservice industry. This forum involves programs, seminars, committees, and taskforces.
GFA Seminars cover topics relevant to the GFA mission. Past seminars include "Carbon What?" and "Waste or Product?". The event calendar has a full schedule of upcoming quarterly meetings and seminars.
